A native of Carrollton, GA, Jay has been in ministry for over 3 decades and comes to us from the great Elberton Christian Church. He has been a speaker at many events, including an international youth conference, youth camps, leadership events, and college retreats. He will deliver his first sermon as FCC's Senior Pastor this Sunday, August 12, 2018, at 11:00am.
In addition to his ministry experience, Jay brings with him 30 years of marriage to his wife, Cristal, his endless devotion for his children, Alec (along with wife Haley) and Brittani, his unconditional love for his granddaughter, 3-month-old Ryleigh Jane, his appreciation of all things Marvel Superhero, and unwavering loyalty to Chick-fil-A.
Jay believes our created purpose is to love and know God. "I am a child of the King attempting to live my life in rhythm with Him and with the urgency and certainty of the return of Jesus.”
